Appointment durations vary according to the clinician. Psychiatric evaluation intakes are generally 60 to 90 minutes long. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes long. Psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes long.
-
Your first appointment is a 60-minute session focused on getting a full picture of your mental health and life context. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your current symptoms, past experiences, medical history, and any treatments you’ve tried before. The goal is to understand your needs—not just from a diagnostic perspective, but as a whole person.
By the end of the session, we may begin discussing treatment options, which could include medication, therapy, or a combination. In some cases, we might need more time or information before making a recommendation. You’ll have space to ask questions and share anything that feels important.
-

If you’re not already working with a therapist, we can talk about whether adding therapy would be helpful for you and explore options that align with your needs. In some cases, we may be able to offer both services here, or we can coordinate with an outside therapist to ensure your care is connected and supportive.
-
Yes, we are currently accepting new patients for both psychiatric care and psychotherapy. Availability may vary depending on the type of service you’re seeking, but we do our best to offer timely appointments. You’re welcome to reach out with any questions or to schedule an initial consultation.
